What are our 2023 Resolutions?
What does D.I.C.E Stand for?
Deaf - the children we work with.
Inclusion - giving access to those who can be socially isolated.
Communication - promoting communication in a variety of modes (BSL/SSE/spoken English) is at the heart of all of our activities.
Enjoyment - we hope all our service users love joining us!
Head to the 'Communication Club' page to find out more.
Language deprivation in Deaf children is a delay in language development that occurs when sufficient exposure to language, spoken or signed, is not provided. This deprivation can exacerbate language delay, which in turn can negatively impact learning, socialising and mental health.
We hire Deaf teenagers to help out at our Communication Clubs.
Often, Deaf teenagers are excluded from the work force due to a lack of opportunities, as a result of language barriers.
DICE offers Deaf teenagers an opportunity to work, earn money and showcase their many fabulous skills.
DICE are thrilled to announce that we will be supported by Bolton's Fund, who will help us to deliver our Communication Clubs over the next 12 months.
